Horses, Pizza, and Monkey Ball

Cole and Jake went to the hospital to see if they were having a baby. So we got to have a sleepover with the kiddos. Kaylee LOVED every second of her cousin time. Unfortunately Cole didn’t have the baby that night. But he came two days later and they are (Mom & Baby) doing well. So here are some pictures of Kaylee and her cousins. One of the horses really liked to come right up to the back door and look at us. I freaked Kaylee out the first time she did it, but then Kaylee started going right up to the door to talk to the horse. Well the horse did this while the kids were over, and of course Sarah was super excited and went right up to the door, but Emma totally melted yelling “scary, scary.” It took a bit but Jon convinced her it was ok and that they are nice horses. So there’s a picture of that. And of course you can’t come to Uncle Jon’s and Aunt Janice’s house without playing Monkey Ball. It was so funny to see all four kiddos concentrating so hard on the game. Only Jacob’s and Sarah’s controllers were on, but the two little girls sure thought they were playing.

You know you live in the country when……..

your father-in-law and neighbor get together and decide the best way to get rid of the weeds in your back yard is horses. So we are borrowing our neighbors horses for a bit. We get free weed eaters, and Bill gets a place to pasture his horses. It’s a lovely win win. We have a temporary fence keeping them off the front yard, and so far they are getting the job done. Kaylee wasn’t sure what to think of them at first, but loves looking at them now.

She was a little worried at first.

Look at her big smile!

She can’t leap tall buildings in a single bound

So for those who haven’t heard this last Monday Kaylee tried to do a Super Man off the counter top in the kitchen. She landed head first on the floor and was not pleased. We attribute the laps in judgment to the fact that she just got her 1 year old shots and was not in her right mind. Here’s some photos of the after math and later on in the week. Turned into a real nice shiner.

It was pretty sad. Her left eye was so swollen she could only open it half way.
