The time Jon was a fool

Jon has decided to build a quadcoppter from scratch. It's going well. I think….

He got it all put together and needed to make sure the propeller motors were all spinning at the same time/direction. He did NOT take the props off.

He probably should have gone and got stitches. Instead he came and got me to butterfly him up. I had to smoosh his flesh back together. EWWW!  I repeatedly called him a fool. PROPS OFF! Especially when they are carbon fiber death blades.

He has manly scars now. He shows them to little and tells the story when they ask why they are NOT allowed to fly the quad. Death blades.

So NOT allowed to

rough house anymore…

As most of you know I have issues walking on a flat stable surface without causing damage to myself, others, and objects in a five foot radius. So why in the world did I think it was a good idea to give Kaylee a shoulder ride??? Not one minute into our fun I knocked her head hard enough to split the corner of her eye. Fun and laughter quickly turned into tears and bloodshed….
So I am no longer allowed to rough house. I will be leaving that to The Professional. Jon. The coordinated one. The Daddy.

Had to post a picture of her in the new outfit from her Auntie Jack’ee and cute hair clips from Auntie Linda and fam.

OUCH!

Just one of those days…. Ten minutes after the fat and very bloody lip she conked her head hard enough to get a lump. Plus she’s cutting molars. We think that’s the reason for her balance issues today. Can we say bloodbath at the Heaton home??? Poor Kaylee.

These ones were taken a few days ago. I LOVE how much Kaylee loves Regan. I am especially grateful for little moments like this since it was a “bit” of work getting both of my sweet babies here.

Kisses. She loves giving Regan kisses. And last night when she was saying her prayers “Ree Ree” was mentioned amid her babble. Usually we only understand her amen. She says her own payers usually without our help. We thought her payer last night was especially awesome since she was praying for Regan. I think she prayed he would sleep well. Which he did. 4 hours between feedings was very nice.
