Prescott zoo

The first day of spring break was on St. Patrick's day. We took a road trip up to Prescott zoo for a day of fun. Kaylee did minimal walking and really enjoyed herself despite still being uncomfortable post surgery.

Kaylee was pleased with her stroller buddy. "Baby Isaac is the cutest baby EVER!" She is not alone in her assessment.

She only got so far into the reptile house before bailing. She was fine with the arachnid house.

The free roaming peacocks were my favorite.

My little miss was being silly when I asked if it was a thumbs up or down day. Oh, the giggles.

Kitchen demo round 2

Today we finished up with the kitchen demo.

We of course had to make a pit stop at The Home Depot for some supplies. Kaylee was still feeling sore and so she got to lounge in this sweet ride.

Kaylee went on an Aunt Emily adventure and her reaction was priceless when she got back and checked on the demo progress.

Time to bust out the baby hammers and get serious. This is the part they live for. Destroying a house and being praised for it? Yes please!

Soccer day 2

Regan did not have a ton of fun last Saturday. He pooped out fast and declared that he didn't like soccer. So getting him to the park today was kinda tough. Especially since Kaylee couldn't participate. She was excited to go and cheer her brother and friends on. That excitement quickly dwindled and she was board and feeling left out. Meanwhile Regan decided that soccer was fun and that it was for him.

Kaylee was happy with her chair and sunbrella for about the first five minutes of the hour long soccer session. Then she came onto the field and tried to do a few things before her body painfully reminded her (she just didn't believe me that it would hurt.) that she just had major surgery and REALLY needed to be sitting. Being sedentary is tough for this girl.

They learned lots of new skill today. They also did some fun drills.

Regan and his buddy Gillian were so focused and poor Kaylee just REALLY wanted to be out there with them.

Regan is excited for next Saturday. Kaylee more so. She will likely be able to get out there and do a few things. It really is amazing how quickly children heal!
