We went as the cast from Despicable Me 2 this year. It's a favorite movie for all the kids and we had perfect numbers this year to do it. Win/Win. The following are random photos from our Ward trunk-or-treat and actual Halloween night.
Such a fun Halloween. The babies did okay. We only had to save the newbie from her big bro a few times… But it was fun getting to have a first holiday with a tiny one again. She is SO cute!
The kids get picked up in a CPS van for visitation. The car seats they use in the vans get a ton of action. So lice happens. And boy did we get hit. Really just V and Kaylee, but I couldn't check my own head and was SO itchy from seeing what was going on on V's head and then super paranoid so I treated the baby as well since the girls all share a room. Jon checked me and the baby when he got home and called us clear of lice.
I spent 2 hours delousing Kaylee and 6 on V. Holy freaking cow! That was a disgusting job. We did a home treatment until Jon was able to get home with a chemical treatment, and then Jon bought this electric lice comb that zaps dead anything left. I LOVE that comb. We triple killed the lice because I just needed to kill them dead, because EEEEWWWWWWW!
These two were SO excited when we picked them up from school.
We picked up Sonic for lunch and Subway for the cooler to eat later that night.
Kaylee was SUPER excited when the tent was all set up.
Jon of course brought his planes. They were a hit.
Kaylee and I went on several nature walks and just chatted. Her request. I'm gonna miss this in a few years.
The campground was small so we were able to let the kiddos just roam free while keeping them in our sights. SO nice for them and us.
This cutie pie came to visit us during the rainstorm that drenched us. We love Kyle. He is the funniest kid.
During the rainstorm Kyle's grandpa opened up his fithwheel for all the kids to watch Planes. Kaylee and Regan where the only ones that stayed for the whole movie. Jon and I caught the tail end of it after the storm.

The littles built this rock wall and decorated it. It kept the busy for a LONG time.
We were the last family at the campsite. Kaylee REALLY wanted to go on a long family hike. So we did.
The kids tried so hard to climb up this tree, but they needed a bit of help. So I decided that I'd help my shorties out a bit.
This campout ended much better that our last one. No puking and no vehicles on fire. Everyone had fun. Yea!
