The time Jon was a fool

Jon has decided to build a quadcoppter from scratch. It's going well. I think….

He got it all put together and needed to make sure the propeller motors were all spinning at the same time/direction. He did NOT take the props off.

He probably should have gone and got stitches. Instead he came and got me to butterfly him up. I had to smoosh his flesh back together. EWWW!  I repeatedly called him a fool. PROPS OFF! Especially when they are carbon fiber death blades.

He has manly scars now. He shows them to little and tells the story when they ask why they are NOT allowed to fly the quad. Death blades.

FroYO and The Little Mermaid

While the cousins went swimming we took Kaylee out to Frozen Yogurt. To soften the blow of missing cousin swimming fun.

After we got back to Papa's house I made Kaylee take a nap in preparation for our late evening out. Before heading out to Tuacahn we went out to dinner. SO yummy.

This girl LOVES guacamole. Plain avocado no. But mashed up with salsa and she's all over it.

I asked her to stand next to the set piece we were near. She just scampered on up there before I knew it so I snapped a fast photo before getting her off the stage. It was pretty funny.

After the show I snuck up with her for a fast photo. We like to live dangerously. 😉

The line to see Ariel and Erick was super long. Kaylee in her infinite wisdom opted for lots of photos with the other stars. She is so smart.

The actors were AMAZING! It was such a great show.

She loved it. We loved it. It was an amazing mother daughter date night.

PSMAPP done!

Tonight we wrapped up our ten week course for our foster license. SOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo happy to be done with that beast. Good grief. If you have done it then you know. IF you have done it I give you high fives and hugs for enduring to the end.

That is not to say that the course wasn't full of good and needful things. It was. But it was agony for my introvert self. Plus I felt like each Tuesday night the three hour class could have been easily done in an hour and a half.

BUT you have to have so many hours of training so… But is it done, and we learned a TON. Which I love. Because learning is awesome.

IMG_5383  We were THRILLED to get this piece of paper. I kinda felt like in needed a cap and gown thing happening, but it's fine. 😉

IMG_5391Also on the way to class I discovered my first grey hair. I'm not gonna lie. I was surpassingly excited about it. So much so that I insisted on Jon taking a picture. He was rolling his eyes at his crazy wife, but took pictures anyway. He's cool like that, and loves me despite my strangeness.

IMG_5390And a close up of the lone grey. Jon says, "PSMAPP gave you grey hairs!" I tell you what he is probably right.

HUMUNGO thanks a million to Dwayne, Shannon, Jodi, and Scott for taking turns taking GREAT care of our children while we PSMAPPed!
