She is doing great with her slow climb up the growth chart. After months of weight checks everyone is happy to say that Kaylee just has a FAST metabolism. She is also after only two months POTTY TRAINED! After the first month she was only having one accident a weeks and over the following month she became a pro. It helped that she hit a growth spurt so she can with the help of her stool get on and off by herself. It’s VERY exciting! We haven’t really tried nights yet. She was freaked out the one time we sent her to bed in panties (had an accident at 1 am). And now requests diapers at bed time. 🙂 So even though she wakes up dry most morning we let her have the comfort and security of a night diaper. (She is still so young.) She has funny conversations with us using multiple word sentences. She is very active. Loves going on walks, helping me clean house and take care of Regan. She is such an awesome little person. Which is why Jon and I felt just so horrible on Friday afternoon when we had to hold our baby girl down so the nurses could do a blood draw. What’s worse is that the first vain they tried didn’t work so she got stuck TWICE! It was awful hearing her scream, “HELP ME MOMMY!”, and “HOLD YOU DADDY!” over and over and over. But the blood draw was to help pin point her allergies and hopefully help us get her skin cleared up (her whole body looks like her hand in the picture) a little better. We are also meeting with a surgeon (referral from her pediatrician) to get a newly developed hernia looked at. So Kaylee has a possible surgery in her future. 🙁 So it was a sad WCC for little miss. They did give her an otter pop which she enjoyed very much. And her arm bruises are starting to look better. Hope you all have a happy week!

POOR KAYLEE!!! It’s hard to hold it together as a parent when things like this need to happen to help them. Yay for her slowly growing, hopefully the test will give you some encouraging answers! Awesome job on potty training!
