I finally took Kaylee to the splash pad by my parents house. She wasn’t sure about it at first, but then other kids came and she realized what she was supposed to do and didn’t want her parents help navigating. Jon was so cute walking around with her in his clothes until she got brave enough to run around by herself. She LOVED every second of it!
Ever the fashion queen she wouldn’t let me take off her jewelery. I guess she felt like being patriotic even if the jewelery didn’t match her suit. I love the picture of her mid laugh. 🙂
Kaylee had a blast at her second 4th of July. She LOVES being outside and loves noise and crowds (unless there is loud clapping). I was worried that she wouldn’t like the really loud fireworks (we were much farther away last year), but she was laughing and just mesmerized the entire time. She also got her first taste of milk popsicles. It just wouldn’t be summer without those yummy homemade treats. Jon says they taste like frozen egg nog. I think he liked them… Angie got to try one as well and said the same thing.
