1st black eye :(

Our little girl is one tough cookie. She really didn’t even cry for five minutes. She likes to dive head first off couches, and just expects people to catch a leg on her way down. Well my Mom was catching her, but didn’t realize that there were weights on the ground next to them. Well eventually she landed eye area first on the weights. After a couple of minutes of love from me, Jon, and Lamby she went right back to Yaya. So the close ups are of the bruising the next day. Quite spectacular for a fist black eye. And yes she is still diving off couches. She does know how to climb off the right way, but I guess it’s more fun to dive. Lesson not learned. Sigh……….

On a happier note we got to see our dear friends this weekend. They moved just before Halloween up to Pleasant Grove. Matt and Angie are the two who did an awesome job at playing matchmaker for me and Jon. McKay and Heather came up from Cedar as well. It’s sad we don’t see the Tebbs family as much as we could living in the same area. Life’s just busy I guess. So it was really nice seeing our friends.

Two of the luckiest girls in the world…

We have the best man in existence. Jon was up most of last night taking care of his girls. We were both pretty miserable. Kaylee was all itchy (another flare up of her fabulous skin) and was having a hard time sleeping even with benadryl. Jon said she kept scratching. So sad. So Jon was up with her so I could try and get some sort of sleep. He had to drug both of us a couple of times before everyone was out for the night. Then he still went to work even though he’s all sleep deprived. Amazing right? We love him, and are so glad he takes such good care of us. He must really like us to give up on a night of sleep to make us feel better. 🙂 How lucky are we to have such an awesome man for a Husband and Daddy?

We decided to celebrate Jon’s first free Tuesday night in over a year by going out to dinner on a Tuesday night. That’s right friends he is no longer Young Men’s President in our ward. We don’t know what’s coming next for him, but for now are enjoying Tuesday nights, and the thought of sleeping in Sunday mornings. Thanks Mom and Dad Heaton for the Christmas gift card.
