Where’s Kaylee?????

So this is a photo we took of Kaylee buried in bears at Jamie and Linda’s house the last time we were there. I forgot all about it until I saw it while downloading all our Thanksgiving photos. Anyway I just thought it was a really cute picture of Kaylee. She didn’t know what to think of all the bears.

A just ’cause date with my cute Hubby

So Thursday night while I was in the bathroom (refinishing the cabinets), Jon knocks on the door and asks me what I have planned for Friday night. I said we didn’t have anything, and he said good were going to see Twilight with Jake and Cole. As you can imagine I was very excited. We had planned on seeing it while my parents were visiting so we could have them watch the baby, but Jake and Cole arranged for cousin Camile (thank you Camile!) to watch all the kiddos, so we got to see the movie several days before originally planned. We ended up seeing the 1:15 showing on Sat. afternoon. I loved the movie! I felt that they did a great job with the time constraints of a movie for portraying the story. It’s always fun spending time with Jake and Cole, and it was so nice of them to invite us on their date, and arrange everything. Overall an awesome 2 hour parenting and reality escape.

Jon won….

So I finally gave in and gave Kaylee her first feeding of cereal. Jon’s been after me to do this for a couple of months now. I planned on waiting until she was 8 months (allergies), but was outnumbered by Jon and Kaylee. She’s been wanting “real” food for as long as Jon’s been telling me to feed her. So last Friday after Kaylee’s bath I was eating crushed ice and sharing with Kaylee, and Jon decided it was time. She did get a small rash on her tummy which is why I wanted to wait, but it cleared up. So here she is on video at 7 1/2 months old (with crazy unbrushed curls) eating her rice cereal.
She actually really likes it now, and is doing great.
Enjoy a good laugh, we sure did. 🙂
