and we have cuteness (as Jon would say)

We had the pleasure of meeting Davis last Sunday. He, his parents, and grandparents flew out from Atlanta for a vacation/visit. Jon and the children also met Kim and Lance. Kim is my sweet cousin. Jon agrees that she is a sweetie (“that Kim is a doll” were his words to me) and likes Lance and Davis as well. We also got to meet one of my newest baby cousins. Little Everlee is just so tiny and cute. I of course forgot to get a picture of her. (classic) We have rare Kreyling gatherings, so I was bummed that I didn’t get around to taking more pictures. But here are some of my favorites:

Lamby was a constant companion. Kaylee was a bit overwhelmed by all the unfamiliar faces, and didn’t want to give him up until the house emptied of most everyone.

Love Regan’s “I’m getting squished” face. He makes that face every time Kaylee hugs him. Guess Davis and Kaylee hug him the same. 😉

Cuteness that was mostly random in it’s happening. FYI, because I know you want to know. Davis’ eyes a just SO blue. And he is such a happy little boy. REALLY. So happy. And CUTE. And yes the same size as Kaylee who is a year older.

Wouldn’t be Jamie and Linda’s house with out a few games of FOOS BALL. Jon was totally into the game. So it was extra funny for me when he said,”SPIN Kaylee SPIN!”
And she let go to SPIN. So glad I had the camera out and on!
Jon: “NO! Like this!” (while very amused with his 2 year old team mate)
They lost.

FINALLY got some pictures of Regan with his Kreyling greats. Just need to make a trip down south to get some of the Sapp greats.

These were the only children left when we thought to take some pictures. Ya. We are awesome like that. It would have been SWEET to get all my Grandparents greats that were there in a photo with them. Have to remember for next time.

Kaylee finally relaxed enough to let go of Lamby long enough to enjoy her Jadzia time. (Bit of a run on huh?) It was quite a party. And quite a lot of Kreyings. And lots of children so we had lots of cuteness happen. Thanks so much Aunt Linda for the good times!

Father’s Day

The children helped me make Jon’s Father’s Day gifts. We made him an apron out of an old pair of jeans, and desk top pen holder for his office. I was so excited for Jon to see what we made that I didn’t remember to get pictures of him opening his gifts, or of him and the children together. His birthday is on the 24th so the apron is also his birthday present from us. But I did get some picture of the projects/gifts.

These are the pictures I took to decorate the pen holder. I want to get this blown up for his office so he can see it better, but need to find the “right” frame.

Hope all you Dad’s had an awesome Father’s day!

We had a BIG Kreyling family dinner and as Jon would say “cuteness happened.” I’ll post those pictures later.

do you ever have a moment

of pure idiocy? A total “what the heck was I thinking!” moment? I made this deliciousness. And DELISH it indeed is. Kaylee having food allergies caused me to start making my own (for safety reasons) granola cereal and bars. We both love this stuff. I had not made any for several months so a few days ago I whipped a batch up. Doesn’t it look OH SO YUM-O?

Well we have been enjoying big bowls of this for breakfast. We really love it. Well in all my “brilliance” I forgot that I had recently discovered that Regan is allergic (of course) to oatmeal. He had an awful reaction to the baby oatmeal. He was rashed out head to toe, and got the ever fun butt vomit. So my third morning of having a bowl of granola it dawns on me mid spoonful that Regan’s mystery mouth rash and butt vomit the last couple of days were not in fact a mystery. That they were caused by me! His Mama who just wasn’t thinking! And just as I had this revelation my older sister called me. So she got to hear all about it. And we laughed because what else do you do? I asked Jacck’ee if I should just throw my bowl away, and she said to just finish it as the damage was already done. So I did. And now I watch with envy as Kaylee scarfs down her breakfast granola and tells me, “delish Mama.” I’m not the only one out there that does stuff like this am I? You know have a sleep deprived moment of unthinking idiocy?
