Regan’s blessing

It’s so easy to get Regan to smile and laugh. I had so much fun taking his picture Sunday morning. I have to thank my awesome helpers, Kaylee, Sam, and Barry.

These were the best of our little family. I hope to get some more in a few months. You know when hopefully my little ones are in a more cooperative mood. hehe…

Nothing more to say. We LOVE this guy.

Thank you everyone who came. We appreciate all of you helping to celebrate our little guy.

why?

this is Kaylee’s new favorite word. she asks me why about EVERYTHING. honestly i LOVE it. but it led to this conversation that makes me laugh and equally terrifies me (and Jon) for teenage Kaylee.

this was a conversation i had with my little 21 month old about a week ago. i was changing a particularly foul diaper of hers and trying not to breath too much.

me: “Kaylee you should really go poo poo in the potty.”

kaylee: “why?”

me: “everyone goes poo poo in the potty.”

kaylee:” a Ree Ree.”

i didn’t know how to respond to such a logical argument. for heavens sake she was right Regan doesn’t poop in the potty!

also check out these cuties. Kaylee and Kael were so fun to watch.

Regan James 2 months old (shots)

Stats from his WCC today:

height: 22.5 in 32%
head: 15 in 12%

Regan is still such a mellow baby! We are loving our smiley boy. He is rolling to his back from tummy more often than not. We put him on a sleeping schedule, and he is doing great at night. Today at the peds office he was so happy until the nurse alcohol swabbed his legs for shots. He does have an attitude, but it’s buried deep. I guess cold just brings out the screamer in Mister Man. He didn’t hardly cry for the actual shots, and so far (fingers crossed) seems to be handling the shots well. Kaylee was really sweet and was holding his hand and saying, “Oh, Ree Ree.” She is so good at consoling him when he is sad. Which means he gets lots of back rubs from her during tummy time. She really doesn’t like it when her baby is sad.
