And then she turned 2!!!

Today our little girl turns two. I am very emotional. Why? Well I can’t help but remember how painful physically and emotionally it was to get Kaylee here. All the excruciating pain for 9 months, drugs, extra ultrasounds, hospital visits, contractions every 10 minutes for half the pregnancy. And I’m grateful! We fought to get her here and she is WAY more than worth it. I wouldn’t change a thing about her. Sure we would be o.k. with fewer tantrums, but then she wouldn’t be HER! And she’s not just feisty and sassy. She is sweet. She caring. She is so full of love. She is smart. She is beautiful. She is an awesome little Mama. She is an amazing sister. She is Kaylee, and she is 2!

We had a party for her on Saturday with family and friends. It was so fun! Thank you everyone who came to help us celebrate! I made egg free cupcakes for her this year. 🙂 Her Papa turned 52 on Friday so they blew out candles together. Then Papa smushed cupcake on Kaylee’s mouth. She LOVED it! She got lots of fun stuff, and even tried to put on one of her new dresses. She is ALL girl.

Later that night we went bowling. My Dad loves bowling and it was Kaylee first time. She now loves bowling too. It took her a bit to understand that we went in order for turn taking. (She wanted to go every other person.) Thanks Jack’ee and Jason for treating. And Justin is was so fun spending time with you!

Sunday was Barry’s farewell. And after we had a family dinner and Jamie and Linda’s house. After dinner we went and took family pictures at the Opera House. I’ll post all that later. Right now I’m going to dish Kaylee up some of her favorite pizza, and a special birthday root beer float, climb in our big bed and watch a movie. Why? Because these are Kaylee’s favorite things and it’s her birthday. 😉

Regan James 4 months old

Regan is amazing! We all just LOVE our happy boy. He was even happy and chatty standing in the longs lines while I got some errands done right after his shots yesterday. This cute old couple where very impressed with how good he was in the long line at the post office. I didn’t mention that he just got shots. It was a long night due to the ick hitting him, but he is pretty much his normal happy self now. Oh, and he is really starting to get into playing with his toys.

3/22/10 WCC Stats:
Weight: 13 lbs 12%
Height: 25 in 49%
Head: 16 in 11%

We think Regan is going to outgrow his big sis sooner rather than later. He is growing SO fast! And Kaylee grows so slow! She is hovering between 20 and 21lbs. So there is only 7 or so lbs different between these two. CRAZY! I have SO much FUN with my babies!

{LOVE}

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Little Green. I think everyone should have one. They are SUPER handy. Kaylee is doing better than expected with the potty training. We are averaging two pee accidents a day (the last three days only one per day). And in the three weeks since we started she has only had three poop accidents. Two of which happened before she discovered pooping in the potty. So anyhow I have come to really LOVE this handy guy. I was using my little green TONS during the first week, but now only use it once every other day. Little Miss tends to have her accidents while in the kitchen.

This guy. LOVE my Mister Man! Lately though I’ve been wondering where all his hair has been going. Well I found it (the hair). Mister Man likes to inch worm all swaddled tight on his back and rub his head on his bumper. Little weirdo is rubbing all his hair off. He will soon be bald like his Papa!

LOVE hand-me-downs! Thanks so much Jamie and Linda! Kaylee REALLY LOVES her new toy. She HAD to go outside to play even though the weather was just awful. Twenty minutes after she decided she was JUST too cold to play outside it started to snow.
What are you currently loving? Really I want to know. 🙂
