Helping. Sort of….

We spent the day helping Jack’ee and Jason move. We took the children with us. They did better than I thought at listening, and getting out of the way when asked. Regan was fascinated with a mini gumball machine in Jason’s office.

I took that thing away from him many many times, telling him that it was NOT a toy and that the candy was NOT for him.

Well….

He didn’t listen. There was a crash. Followed by, “OH! NO!”
I found him frantically trying to clean up all the gumballs.  I got a mumbled, “sorry.” So I went and grabbed the camera. Took a couple of pictures, and then helped clean.

Since the gumballs were no longer “edible” I let him and Kaylee (who helped clean up) each have a one.
I got a very excited, “She share candy me! Tanks Mama!” So at least he cleaned up and was grateful for the candy.
Jason missed the whole thing. He said he wished he would have been able to see the gumball explosion. I told him I took pictures. So here they are Jason. Sorry. Again.
Also even though we were not as helpful as we would have liked Jason kindly gave us a much needed coffee table. It is SO awesome. Rounded corners, on coasters, the top lifts UP, solid wood…. I am ridiculously excited about it! I have big big plans for my coffee table.
Thanks Jason. Again.

Barry is home!

We are so excited that Barry is home! He got home on the 19th. It was SO good to spend time with him for a few days.

Waiting at the airport for Papa and Yaiyai to arrive.

Regan was a little excited to see his Papa! And this is his Regan’s new way of to running. He grabs hold of his pants to keep them up. Underwear is just not a bulky as diapers are.

Just some random photos of us visiting while we wait for Barry’s plane.

The O’dell’s have arrived and Darin comes upstairs to tell so.

Kaylee LOVES playing with Cassie and Jadzia.

These three had a blast on the hammock.

We finished our visit off with a movie. Regan found a new cuddle buddy and was happy to sit and watch How to train your Dragon.
