Kaylee’s 4 year old photos

Mid saying, “I’m four!” I love how she’s looking at her hand to make sure she did it right.

She was laughing so hard when she saw the red lipstick on her hand after blowing me a kiss.

Our little spitfire cracks us up. She is too funny. All these posses were all HER idea. I told her my idea of hair make-up and Mama dress and she did the rest. “How about I do like this now Mom?”, then she’d come over to look at the camera to see if she liked the picture. We had SO much fun with years photo shoot. Can’t hardly believe she’s four!

She’s 4

Jon and I blew up a package of balloons and tossed them on her floor (after she was asleep) for a morning surprise. She was so excited! I think that’s going to be our new birthday thing. Having the children wake up to a room full of balloons was an awesome way to start the day.

I gave her her birthday cards that came in the mail to open BEFORE breakfast. She was too funny trying to blow up her birthday card balloons.

Then she had to “feed” her piggy. Kid got $10 in her cards this year. She was all, “WOW! Mas hundred dollars!” Big thank yous to Grandmas Sapp and Heaton. She carried and looked at her cards most of the day.

She wanted a Nutella and almond butter sandwich and a pink smoothie for her birthday breakfast.

Then she decided that we should build a tent for all the balloons and have a princess movies/eat all our food in the tent day. So we did.

And during Regan’s nap time we did her photo shoot. I’ll post those pictures later.

Her party is on Saturday so cake and piƱata pictures will come later.

a sad Kayleeism and some yard work

Saturday mid morning after getting back from the spring brake trip-

So Kaylee just had a really sad look on her face so Janice asked her what was wrong. She said “My heart is just so sad and I can’t make it all better. I just miss my friends soo much. I know my TV is soo much bigger and my house is bigger, but I just miss my friends and it makes my heart so sad.”

-Jon

Sad huh? So we decided to go and scrub all the bird poop off Pinto (the horse) and let her have fun getting good and wet. Pinto needed a REALLY good scrub down as he was coming inside. The sun here will just kill him. Kaylee was so happy when she found out we were bringing Pinto inside. Both the children are really enjoying him inside so much.

Being with Pinto always make her happy. We were just happy to see her smiling face again. After she was done cleaning Pinto we changed her out of her soggy clothes and she and Regan spent some time with the boys pulling weeds.

Regan tried really hard to use Uncle Josh’s new weed pulling thing.
Cousin Hunter came to help. (The yard was horrible.)

Kaylee job was to follow the boys with the wheel barrow and pick up the pulled weeds.

After getting cleaned up it was time to RIDE!

And ride they did.
