He totally rocks.

I wanted Kaylee's morning to be special and fun. Last night she was SO nervous she couldn't eat. I didn't want a hungry belly to ruin her first day of school. Jon thought I was silly, but went along with my wishes. He's cool like that.
Also we are looking on the bright side and happy that Jon has this week off for Dr. appointments and tests. It was so nice that he was able to go see her off on her first day.
I tried to bribe both Kaylee and Jon awake with her favorite breakfast. The house smelled so yummy and she gave me a happy tired clap before letting me know she just needed to snuggle more.
So I let the sleepy heads snuggle and wished I could join them.
Jon is less that pleased by his voice these days. Kaylee loved the song anyway.
First day of school!!!
As you can see we were at the Dr.'s getting more blood work done before taking Kaylee to school. And Kaylee's face in the photo kills me. Love this girl.
Regan was devastated that he didn't get to stay for school. He just wanted his sister. Getting in the van and leaving the school without her was hard for him.
Kaylee changed into one of her leotards when she got home and had a smoothie pop to help cool off before tackling her homework. She had an amazing day, and can't wait to go back.
"Mom, that was fun. Can I go back again?"
We went to meet Kaylee's teacher today. I had requested Mrs. Bringhurst because Kaylee really liked her from her screening day. I also herd good things about her from other parents. Mrs. B had Kaylee sit at a few different sized desks to see which would be a good fit. Kaylee will be getting the smallest size desk and chair WITH a book under her feet. Mrs. B told her she would grow into it, and probably be in the next size up for desk and chair by the end of the year. I just chuckled.
Kaylee is SO SO SO excited to be starting school TOMORROW!!!! Ahhhh, where did the time go?
