Thanksgiving 2008

This year Jon and I had everyone over to our tiny house. With a little furniture moving, and some creative thinking we made it work. We had almost all of both sides come. We were only missing Jack’ee! We hope she had fun in San Diego. So that’s 31 people (12 under 5 years) in our 1144 sqft home. We feel so blessed that everyone who could make it came. Family is so important to both of us, and the holidays wouldn’t be the same without all of you. We want to thank all of you for loving us, and let you know how much we love every one of you. Enjoy the photos of our crazy wonderful long weekend that started on Wednesday, and ended Sunday.

So I finally gave in and gave Kaylee her first feeding of cereal. Jon’s been after me to do this for a couple of months now. I planned on waiting until she was 8 months (allergies), but was outnumbered by Jon and Kaylee. She’s been wanting “real” food for as long as Jon’s been telling me to feed her. So last Friday after Kaylee’s bath I was eating crushed ice and sharing with Kaylee, and Jon decided it was time. She did get a small rash on her tummy which is why I wanted to wait, but it cleared up. So here she is on video at 7 1/2 months old (with crazy unbrushed curls) eating her rice cereal.
She actually really likes it now, and is doing great.
Enjoy a good laugh, we sure did. 🙂

Kaylee laughing at Jon. She’s such a happy little miss. She can really get herself going when she thinks something is funny. One time I thought she was going to hyperventilate laughing at Angie. This video is VERY mild laughter, but still way cute. The card covers her face most of the video, but she would not give it up.
