A date and a Kayleeism

I read the story to the children today. It’s such a romantic day. It was of course a children’s version of the story, but still good. Then Carter came over and we made conversation heart cookies. (Sugar cookies, heart cutter, food color pens = FUN!) Happy Valentines Day!

The Kayleeism:

Last night Jon and I were in bed watching a NOVA special. (NOVA rocks!) Kaylee and Regan were eating dinner and finishing up Lilo & Stitch. Well Kaylee finished and ran into our room announcing, โ€œWe need to take a bath!โ€ So I asked why (she was clean). She replied, โ€œThis toe right here is dirty,โ€œ while bending down and pointing to one big toe.

We laughed. And then a few minutes later discovered that Regan NEEDED a bath. (re-fried black beans EVERYWHERE!) So Kaylee got to have her bath and clean her dirty toe. She was pleased.

Valentines, Birthday, and Kaylee cuteness.

We’ll start with Kaylee cuteness. I did this page a while ago, but never got around to posting it, so it’s getting added to this post. She never stops surprising us. We love these pics I was able to get of her being a big helper. I know she won’t always be so willing to “help”, so I’m enjoying it while it lasts. It cracks me up to see a 10 month old wanting to do laundry. She also lately thinks that it’s hilarious to brush my teeth, and wash my face. She more willing to let me do her if she gets a shot at me. Such a funny little miss. Love you kid.

My cute Hunny brought these beauties home Friday. So I got to start enjoying them a day early. He also let me sleep in on Sat. morning. What a sweetie. Love you Hun.

We went down to St. George on Valentines day to celebrate Cassie’s b-day. It was also Jr. Prom, so we got to meet Barry’s beautiful date. It was nice of him to stop by the party so we could meet her and snag a few pictures. I have to say it was also quite brave as they where bombarded by people and cameras. ๐Ÿ™‚

We snapped these last few pics as Jon and I where getting ready to leave. Kaylee was in jamies (shinny from being shmeered with skin meds) and very tired so she didn’t want to smile for Jon or Linda. Sorry guys maybe next time. Also this was a very fancy b-day for our little Cassie Joan. She got to go to Disneyland and ended up having 3 cakes. Don’t we all wish every b-day was so fun?
