School V-day parties

Jon and I were both able to go to the kids class Valentine parties. Regan’s finished about twenty minutes before Kaylee’s started. AND Jon had the day off work. So pretty much an awesome day all around.

I brought Thin Mints for him and he had a few super jealous class mates. Couldn’t blame them. They were stuck with sugar cookies.IMG_4689

She too got the Thin Mints. Sometimes allergies aren’t the worst. Also I made Jon get in a few pictures to prove he went to a class party.IMG_4693 IMG_4698And then an awkward sibling photo while we waited for Jon to finish taking down all the ceiling decor. He didn’t even need a chair…..

Valentine cookies

Aunt Emily invited the kiddos over to make, decorate, eat some sugar cookies. The kiddos had a blast.

It was kinda exhausting for Me and Jon. Lately we are hating taking the kids places. R is just SO hard. He still doesn’t like me and so he is super defiant with me and throws HUGE fits over everything I say to him. SO poor Jon pretty much is held hostage to R when we go anywhere just trying to make sure that he doesn’t hurt others or himself. And V is super aggressive in seeking physical affection from random strangers. It’s hard and scary.

I used to SO good at keeping the freezer stocked with pancakes. And then one day we ere out and I didn't feel like making a batch. FYI I make mine from scratch (food allergies…) so it's more involved that just adding water. Nothing is more motivating that a guilt ridden Mama (Regan had asked for months, and then finally gave up.), a fun holiday, and a morning house guest to put some pancakes in the freezer. I made a batch of pink and purple for the kids to eat, and then whipped out 7 dozen more for the freezer. Regan was SOOOOO happy.

I pulled out some holiday colored plates. And let them have a purple pancake picnic.

We watched Charlie Brown's valentine movie. Kaylee found the adults voices very amusing.
