Halloween 2015

This years costume theme. Brought to you by Kaylee ‘s OT recommending Where’s Waldo books to help with her visual perception issues. So the kids got WAY into the books and decided that we should go as Waldo and the gang for Halloween.

They demanded a mini photo shoot before their costumes were complete.IMG_0903

Halloween day we had our ward party. SO fun. They had tons of fun games and a trunk or treat at the end.IMG_0934 IMG_0940 IMG_0944 IMG_0948 IMG_0950 IMG_0952 IMG_0961 IMG_0963 IMG_0965 IMG_0967 IMG_0968

Our sister missionaries are just so awesome!IMG_0969 IMG_0979

Regan’s loot. And we still had neighborhood treating to do!IMG_0982 IMG_0987 copy

I think we nailed it. IMG_0994 IMG_0996

We got our doorway all set up for our neighborhood treaters and then took off to Aunt Cindy’s for family fun.IMG_1003

Regan demanded a turn “serving the customers.” IMG_1006

Shutterfly and The Wizard. Cutest cousins.IMG_1007

Me and the kids.IMG_1009 IMG_1020 IMG_1023 IMG_1030

Jon playing Where’s Waldo. He got found a lot. Also it was very clear that most people have no clue that there are other characters. We all got called Waldo. Also Kaylee was labeled a cute boy by all and didn’t love that. She regretted calling dibs on The Wizard, beards are itchy!IMG_1034 IMG_1036 IMG_1039Such a great night visiting with family and the kids had a blast!

Pumpkin carving 2015

It’s been so hot here that I held off on carving the pumpkin until the day of. The kids did not appreciate waiting. I got everything all set out and ready to go and then made them wait even more while Jon helped me glue my hand. Emptying the dishwasher……. It’s perilous. Also I’m the reason we are a plastic dishes house. Jon has his pyrex bake wear, but everything else is stainless steal or plastic.IMG_0904 IMG_0909

They were pretty darn excited when it was FINALLY time.IMG_0911

Regan, “EWWW! Pumpkins are SO disgusting.” He ran off to his room and waited until the gross gutting was done.IMG_0912 IMG_0915

Kaylee was just the opposite. She got all up in there and was ripping all the seeds out.IMG_0916 IMG_0917

I had them draw what they wanted and carve it mostly solo. Kaylee’s side was vampire guts… Regan did a more traditional scary face.IMG_0919 IMG_0920

Then Kaylee decided to be “that” sibling and gross her brother out. IMG_0921 IMG_0923All in all a win for pumpkin carving this year.

V’s 5th birthday party

V wanted The Little Mermaid for her party theme. 🙂  Last year she would hardly talk to me about what kind of party she wanted. I was super happy to be able to throw a party for her. Her new family came and that was awesome!IMG_9455 IMG_9458 IMG_9460 IMG_9462 IMG_9465 IMG_9508

This kid was swimming in gifts. See what I did there? 😉IMG_9523

She was pretty excited to be the first one to hit he pinata.IMG_9547 IMG_9553

After the pinata we packed up kids for their first weekend at their new house.IMG_9558

Cousins stayed to play which was so nice.IMG_9564 IMG_9567 IMG_9572

Rebekah was raking me up.IMG_9573 IMG_9576The kiddos all played outside. I’m loving the cafe lights on the play place.
