My cute parents came up for Halloween & spent the night. It was so fun having them over. Kaylee took a bit to warm up, but that’s to be expected. My mom decided to take us out to lunch (we never turn down free food;), & we had yummy Chinese. They had the Chinese Zodiac on the place mats, & we found out that my Dad & Jon are the dogs, Mom & I are the Boars, & Kaylee is the Rat. Fun trivia. Kaylee was so worn out she fell asleep on the way home. Thanks Mom & Dad. We love you!

Applesauce

Last weekend some of our friends invited us over to make Applesauce. It was really fun and easy. Especially since Jon did all the work for our share. I had Kaylee most of the time. Now we have lots of applesauce for Kaylee’s first fruit. We also have lots of peaches that I did a few months ago. I’ve decided even with it being more work it tastes better & is healthier for Kaylee. No preservatives or other junk. Plus it’s actually a great money saver. It came to just 37 cents per quart! Woo Hoo!

These are awesome & so cute. I needed something for Kaylee’s horribly sensitive skin now that she’s more mobile. Also with winter coming up they are a nice alternative to stockings or pants. Diaper changes are a breeze & baby’s legs stay warm. Kaylee was always getting her socks off, (thanks Dad) but she can’t with these so now her little feet stay nice & warm. Anyway they are ridiculously functional & like I said before just so cute! It’s my favorite combination. Adorable functionality.
