Was the subject of an e-mail from my Mom. I just opened the e-mail and it informed me that we have been misspelling her title. I LOVE my Mom. She cracks me up. She is amazing, and OH SO FUNNY! It took her almost a year after Kaylee was born to pick her title. γιαγιά is Greek for Grandmother. She wants all her grandchildren (so far just the 2) to call her Grandma in a different language. Since Abeula was taken by her Mom she chose γιαγιά. So far Kaylee has it easy. She wants poor Regan to call her Babushka!
Before
It’s small when she’s relaxed (as pictured), not hardly noticeable. But get her laughing or throwing a fit, and it starts to grossly distend. And she’s been letting us know, “belly button ouchy.”
We let her chow down on some popcorn (a fav. of hers) right before bed. She’s allowed solids until midnight, then just clear fluids up until 4:30 a.m. Not that anyone will be awake, but you know… Jon needs to have her at the hospital by 6:30 a.m. for her 8:30 a.m. surgery. I can’t take Regan to the hospital and since he doesn’t take a bottle I get to wait at home. 🙁 So my sweet Mom came to keep me company so I don’t go too stir crazy waiting at home. Kaylee was speechless when her Yaya showed up (a surprise for her) unexpectedly. It was great! Well I’m off to try and sleep……….
