When it rains during the day and your Mom makes you put on your rain boots to jump in puddles.
They thought I was nuts. But then they realized just how fun puddle jumping is.
They had a warm bath and cocoa after. Super fun.
Day one of Fall break we headed out to see Jack’ee and Logan. We of course had to smother his cuteness in kisses.
I mean really! Could he be any cuter?
Kaylee had a nice chat with Yiayia while getting a massage. Starting her fall break off right! And ya, I have a flip phone. Smart phones are awesome, but it’s more money and one more thing for my kids to fight over. So flip phone. 
Look at how cute Logan’s boots and braces are! His clubbed feet are coming along so nicely.
Regan got a hold of the camera. His selfies crack me up. Always super serious. 
Hoping for a week of fun. It’s still strange having only these two. The house is SOOOO quiet and everything is easier and faster. I don’t necessarily think that’s good or bad. Just an observation on our new normal. We are all still adjusting to our diminished family size.
We made my parents a ruler so they can measure the grandkids. It’s actually super helpful because my Mom was convinced that Kaylee just doesn’t grow. Ever. Our sweet Shrimpy McShorty is a slow and steady kinda gal. No major growth spurts for her. So having visual proof of growth is comforting for those who don’t get to see Kaylee’s growth charts and stuff.
Regan was a little more generous with his self measurement than Kaylee was.

It’s ruler official. Regan is taller. Good thing his big sister is a bundle of concentrated self confidence. She doesn’t need to be taller because she’s older and always will be. 
We need baby Logan’s measurements up there asap.
