worn out

She insisted on dressing like Daddy (allergy/sun protection) to work in the yard. So I of course made this cute pair pose for me.

She was actually quite helpful in weeding the grow boxes. And SUPER cute pulling her bandanna down to talk to me (like she’s seen her Daddy do) then needing help to get it back in place.

After several hours of yard work we all came inside to get clean. After a nice long bath I got her in some jammies and proceeded to dry her hair. Next thing I know she’s passed out standing. So I called Jon over to get a picture (because that’s what I do.). We were VERY amused at how tired yard work makes a little girl.

Father’s Day

After dinner of pizza chili (SO yum-o), I pulled out Jon’s dessert (Regan got his special ice cream) and gift. I highly recommend the pizza chili Regan all but inhaled the stuff (look at his face)!

Thank you Jon for being the BEST. DAD. EVER!!!!

Happy Father’s day to mine and Jon’s Dad we love you both to pieces!!!

And happy Father’s Day to all our Grandpas, Uncles, and brother’s (that have kids).

gone fishen’

Friday and Saturday afternoon we went up to Yankee Meadow to do some fishin’. Jon’s parents were camping up there for the weekend, but since it’s only 30 min from our house we decided to sleep in our own beds at night. It was such a perfect weekend. We caught lots of fish, and had SO much fun.

Kaylee was scared of the fish after hearing one gasp for breath. She had been SO excited about the whole thing. She was talking ALL week about how we were going to go fishen’ and then eat the fish.

Jon insisted that I hold up the fish (not a one was mine.). Regan thought the fish were cool.

Jon caught 5 fish our first night. 2 off my pole (to prove that my new pole wasn’t my issue).

Saturday we took the children out on the boat (first time ever) and had fun “fishen” with them. Regan lasted about an hour before declaring (by screaming bloodily murder) that he was done. Kaylee later went out with the boys for a couple hours, but sadly didn’t catch anything.

Thanks to Mom (who we failed to get a photo of) I was able to get tons of fishin’ time in without children trying to “help”, or throw themselves overboard. We also got to see Jon’s uncles (who the children and we love) when they came up to fish. I can’t wait to hit up the lake again and catch “the one that got away” (2 really, but who’s counting?).
