You know you live in the country when……..

your father-in-law and neighbor get together and decide the best way to get rid of the weeds in your back yard is horses. So we are borrowing our neighbors horses for a bit. We get free weed eaters, and Bill gets a place to pasture his horses. It’s a lovely win win. We have a temporary fence keeping them off the front yard, and so far they are getting the job done. Kaylee wasn’t sure what to think of them at first, but loves looking at them now.

She was a little worried at first.

Look at her big smile!

The last of the 1st Holiday’s

Kaylee’s last first holiday was lots of fun. We took her to the car show on Saturday. On Sunday we had both sides of our family over for dinner and an egg hunt. Then on Tuesday Jon and I celebrated our third anniversary! Woo Hoo! I got a massage in the morning, and then Jon’s parents watched Kaylee while we went to dinner. Just click on the pages if you want to read more about our busy fun weekend. We also want to say congratulations to my cousin Kim and her hunny Lance on their first baby. Baby Davis was born on our anniversary so it will be an easy date for us to remember.

My Mom surprised us by bringing Abuela. It’s always fun to see her. Kaylee loves listening to her speak Spanish. They are a cute pair.

Kaylee at the office on our anniversary while I was getting a massage. I really have the BEST husband ever!

As a random side note… Jon just gave Kaylee her first bite of a pickle and then ate the rest himself. She wasn’t happy that the pickle was gone so Jon gave her her own. She is in pickle heaven. She is SOOO Jon’s daughter. I guess you only need 3 teeth to eat pickles. hehe

Kaylee’s 1 year & new Family photos

So these are our new family photos, and Kaylee’s super cute year old photos. My mom took them for us this weekend down in St. George. It was a fun and busy weekend. On Sunday was had friends and family over to my parents house to celebrate my Mom’s 50th birthday. We took lots of pictures, but haha we left our camera in St. George. So I’ll post those later.

This last picture has a funny story. Kaylee this last month discovered pointing. She points at EVERYTHING (we think it’s cute), especially at her Lamby. My Mom had Lamby while taking our pictures so Kaylee would look at the camera. Well she got distracted by passing cars, so my Mom asked her where Lamby was. So she double pointed at Lamby very excited and this is the picture my Mom got. It’s my Dad’s favorite so it’s getting printed for his classroom.
