The boys are settled.

So Jon was harassing Shannon on the phone (pictured below), and she was asking what the new office was like. So I decided to finally do something with all the pictures that I’ve been taking. So here are some shots so that hopefully you can get an idea of what their new space is like.

Jake working hard, and Jon being a little brother. 🙂

The reception area, the carpet (pre-cleaned), and the kids cleaning.

The walls from drywall arriving to painted.

The really nice doors. I think they are so pretty.

The bathroom. It still need a few things, but you get the idea. The boys LOVE their urinal.

The utility/storage closet.

The evolution of the ceiling.

We have already had some good time in the new office. Last weekend the boys played hide and seek with all the kids while Cole and I watched some really funny cheating. There have been a few picnics and lots of visiting. I love that there is so much more room that we can all be together without being on top of eachother.

and then she climbed right in….

Last night we had a family picnic at our favorite park and had lots of fun. Kaylee has been to this park before with her cousins and remembered playing in the river. Jon was watching her while I was getting food ready. She was staying on the sidewalk along the river but couldn’t get to the river because she really hates grass. So we weren’t too worried. Well before we knew it she was on one of the little bridges and climbing into the river! She found a perfect grass free way to get into the water. She was so proud of herself. I was surprised she stayed in the water for so long since it really cold mountain water. Jon had to pull her out and shake her off so we could eat. She was so wet! Well as soon as she was finished eating she climbed right back in. Jon and I decided for her that she was done when she started shivering. Every time we asked if she was done she would shake her head no. She really didn’t want to leave. I think we will take her back before it starts getting cold here. Which means we will be back to the canyon park soon.

24th of July fun.

Jon was cleaning Kaylee after dinner and made an icky discovery. He sent her over to me so I could see, and I laughed so hard it scared Kaylee and made her cry. After dinner we met Jake and his family at the office parking lot to have some fun with fireworks to celebrate Pioneer Day. Kaylee was in heaven playing with her cousins. Jake’s kids are so good with her and she just loves them all.

Yup that’s a green bean in her ear!

Kaylee is saying, “cheese!” in these pictures.
