Family

WARNING: Lots of Pictures…

The kids and I packed up and headed down to St. George to see family. My Uncle Jule and Aunt Koni were in town for a few hours so we had a little Kreyling shindig. We got to visit with lots of Kreylings and introduce Regan to his family. While in town we also saw Abuela Cristina, Aunt Maggie, Gabby, and Kelly. We even stopped by VERY briefly at Sharice and Derek’s house. So it was a very full weekend for Regan to meet all sorts of family. Then Sunday Sam and Barry came up to try and get a few family photos taken. We are running very behind for our Christmas card this year. Next year will be less crazy…maybe. 🙂

Kaylee LOVES anything to do with music. Singing, dancing, instruments…
So this was the first thing that happened when we arrived at my parents house Friday afternoon. Barry was nice and brave enough to share his guitar. She was so smiley and happy.

Barry put this hat on Kaylee while she was eating her snack. She thought it was pretty cool.

Sam and Kaylee at the Kreyling shindig. I didn’t get pictures of everyone due to wrangling two kiddos, but here are some photos of the fun…

Aunt Koni’s Dad even stopped by. It was nice to see him and visit for a bit. He is such a sweet man. I have fond memories of him and his wife from my youth.

Some of my favorite girls.

And a few more of my girls with the boy.

Pictures Sunday did not go as smoothly as anticipated. Kaylee was NOT in a photo taking mood. We thankfully got one decent one of the four of us. And we only need one so yea!

Sam putting Regan to sleep. Both my babies LOVE ball bouncing. I have a great picture of Barry bouncing Kaylee to sleep when she was this age. Ball bouncing knocks them right out. It’s also a great workout. 🙂

And after a long weekend my baby is OUT!

Thanksgiving weekend 2009

We had my family over to our house for Thanksgiving. It was lots of fun. Sam did all the cooking & cleaning up. So it really was quite relaxing as far as hosting goes. Dinner was awesome! Sam did such an amazing job. Mom & Sam left Thanksgiving night, & Dad & Barry stayed up for another day. Our best friend Angie stopped by with her newest addition so we could see him. We got some cute photos of the boys. It was her first time seeing Regan as well. Greyson was 10 weeks old & Regan 10 days old in these photos. It doesn’t look like there is a big size difference, but there really is. Our friend Mckay came over on Friday for some computer help, & helped the boys get the outside lights up. Enjoy the random photos of our holiday weekend. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.

We are still trying to decide what color Regan’s hair is. We are leaning towards auburn. It’s very red when freshly washed & depending on the lighting. Other times it’s quite dark… so we will just have to see in the months & years to come what happens with his hair color.

A few reasons to feel grateful & blessed.

*These three. Not the best photo, but a great moment in time. Jon, Kaylee & Regan are my biggest reasons to feel grateful & blessed. 🙂
*Jon’s awesome multi taking skills. (playing with Kaylee, snuggling Regan, & programing)
*The gospel.
*Our family. They really are such a blessing to us. Both sides are more than wonderful.
*Our friends & ward members.
*That Kaylee was born first. Regan is a cake walk compared to our feisty little miss. She really broke us in with the constant screaming. (We wouldn’t change a thing about her.)
*Our home, love, & life.

Kaylee playing this little piggy on Regan. Even though he didn’t enjoy it, we thought it was very cute. She loves her “ReeRee” so much. She even shares her Lamby with him when he is upset. This is delightfully gross & shocking as Lamby is NEVER shared with anyone.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving tomorrow and a wonderful weekend.
