1st black eye :(

Our little girl is one tough cookie. She really didn’t even cry for five minutes. She likes to dive head first off couches, and just expects people to catch a leg on her way down. Well my Mom was catching her, but didn’t realize that there were weights on the ground next to them. Well eventually she landed eye area first on the weights. After a couple of minutes of love from me, Jon, and Lamby she went right back to Yaya. So the close ups are of the bruising the next day. Quite spectacular for a fist black eye. And yes she is still diving off couches. She does know how to climb off the right way, but I guess it’s more fun to dive. Lesson not learned. Sigh……….

On a happier note we got to see our dear friends this weekend. They moved just before Halloween up to Pleasant Grove. Matt and Angie are the two who did an awesome job at playing matchmaker for me and Jon. McKay and Heather came up from Cedar as well. It’s sad we don’t see the Tebbs family as much as we could living in the same area. Life’s just busy I guess. So it was really nice seeing our friends.

Reunited and it feels so good.

Gotta say it is sooo good to be home with my Hunny. This is what happened. Jon was supposed to go to Tennessee for Megan’s baby blessing, and be gone for four days. Well his plans fell through, but I had already made plans with my family. So Kaylee and I went down to St. George for a long weekend. Thanks Dad for coming to get us and for the humidifier. Mom for the awesome food and shopping. Barry for being the best Uncle and brother (love talking with you). Aunt Linda for my new found weakness (Key Lime pie), the visit, and the girls playing with Kaylee. And Sam for being Auntie Lipgloss, and dancing with Kaylee (you really are her favorite). Thank you everyone for a lovely weekend.

Pigtails, toothbrush, and a MONKEY?

First time trying the pigtails today. We decided that they don’t really look so hot on little miss yet. Maybe in a few months?… Anyway Kaylee used to let me brush her tooth until she realized that she can do it by herself. So now she fights me while I do it, then when I’m done she does it herself and is quite proud the entire time. Yea oral hygiene!

I had to barricade Kaylee out of the hall while I was shampooing the carpets today. She thought it was very much fun to climb up and down. She would clap and laugh and chat away. She really is our little monkey girl. Love this kid!
