24th of July fun.

Jon was cleaning Kaylee after dinner and made an icky discovery. He sent her over to me so I could see, and I laughed so hard it scared Kaylee and made her cry. After dinner we met Jake and his family at the office parking lot to have some fun with fireworks to celebrate Pioneer Day. Kaylee was in heaven playing with her cousins. Jake’s kids are so good with her and she just loves them all.

Yup that’s a green bean in her ear!

Kaylee is saying, “cheese!” in these pictures.

I accidentally burned Kaylee’s head on Jon’s b-day. She never moves when I do her hair (usually too focused on her food to even notice) and I like how fast the curling iron is. My Mom’s been way worried that I would burn her head (she went on and on about skin grafts…) How was I supposed to know that the dog we were watching would start barking at a cat and make Kaylee jerk her head right when I got close to her scalp??? Well she started crying, I felt awful, and then she just kept saying over and over while shaking her head, “ALL DONE!” So I got her out of her chair and we cuddled. Then her Yaya found out and I got scolded with an I told you so. Good Times! So Kaylee’s Yaya got her some curlers. Don’t mind her angry face (I didn’t let her have the camera.) I did two different do’s in one day just for fun. So thanks Mom for the curlers. We love you.

Later that day Kaylee really wanted to go out for a walk. I felt bad that we couldn’t (it was just a bad preggo day,) so she walked her baby around the house for a bit. She was entertained so I was just laying on the couch dying waiting for my pills to kick in so I could function when I herd her complaining about something. So I got up to see what her deal was. I sure was glad the camera was close. She was trying SO hard to get out of her stuck position from the doll stroller. Hers was out, but she’s still too short to climb in it by herself. I guess she figured that she could get into the doll stroller as it’s a fourth the size of hers. It was so funny. By then I really had “the guilt” for not being able to take her on a real walk, so I put her in the doll stroller and we went around the house one time (all I could manage.) Then I told her it was her baby’s turn for a ride. She thought that was fine and reached for her baby. I then realized she was expecting me to push them both and wasn’t planing on getting out and pushing her baby herself…. So I said, “Mama’s all done.” and went and sat back down. So she just sat in the doll stroller with her Lamby and baby and watched an episode of Friends with me. My girl makes me laugh every day with her adorable smartness.
