one last snuggle

Regan was so happy to play with Barry for a bit.

I woke Kaylee up an hour early so she could say bye to Barry. It took her a bit to fully wake up. And then she was crabby ALL day. (totally worth it!)

After about ten minutes she was awake enough to give Barry squishes and kisses.

We sure are going to miss Barry, but we know he will be an amazing missionary.

New Family photos

My parents needed new pictures of all of us before Barry ships out. The last ones of my sibs and me Jon took four years ago before we got married. We really needed new ones. So here are a few of my favorites. Jon and I still need to get individual photos of our two babes. This was during one of Regan’s nap times so we couldn’t get him to smile. Also there are TONS of pictures. Enjoy!

The very first picture taken. Cracks me up how my sibs are doing their own thing not realizing that a picture is being taken. Classic!

Kreyling family as of March 2010.

Landscape of the same photo.

My siblings and me, the WHITE one on the end. I’m just glad I’m sitting by Jack’ee who works graveyard and never sees the sun, and not Barry who does see the sun.

Tired Regan and his Papa.

It was so sweet when Kaylee reached over to give Regan a hug.

Too bad he was sleepy crabby and did not appreciate the hug.

Kaylee is going to really miss her “rarry” when he leaves for his mission.

All of us plus Jack’ee’s boyfriend Jason. He was great at helping keep an eye on Kaylee while she wondered around, and taking photos too.

OK, I think I may be part albino! Hahaha! Seriously though…. It cracks Jon up that I am SO WHITE! I am so proud of Barry for choosing to go on a mission. I sure am going to miss my brother while he is gone.

Kaylee had to join Sam while she was getting her individual photo taken.

Poor Kaylee had not had an accident for a week when she suddenly stood up and said, “Oh no! Help!” And then she peed. She was so sad. I had extra stuff so we were able to get her clean and comfy.

I just love this picture. I think it’s so sweet. Sad Kaylee looking behind her at her accident.

And then she turned 2!!!

Today our little girl turns two. I am very emotional. Why? Well I can’t help but remember how painful physically and emotionally it was to get Kaylee here. All the excruciating pain for 9 months, drugs, extra ultrasounds, hospital visits, contractions every 10 minutes for half the pregnancy. And I’m grateful! We fought to get her here and she is WAY more than worth it. I wouldn’t change a thing about her. Sure we would be o.k. with fewer tantrums, but then she wouldn’t be HER! And she’s not just feisty and sassy. She is sweet. She caring. She is so full of love. She is smart. She is beautiful. She is an awesome little Mama. She is an amazing sister. She is Kaylee, and she is 2!

We had a party for her on Saturday with family and friends. It was so fun! Thank you everyone who came to help us celebrate! I made egg free cupcakes for her this year. 🙂 Her Papa turned 52 on Friday so they blew out candles together. Then Papa smushed cupcake on Kaylee’s mouth. She LOVED it! She got lots of fun stuff, and even tried to put on one of her new dresses. She is ALL girl.

Later that night we went bowling. My Dad loves bowling and it was Kaylee first time. She now loves bowling too. It took her a bit to understand that we went in order for turn taking. (She wanted to go every other person.) Thanks Jack’ee and Jason for treating. And Justin is was so fun spending time with you!

Sunday was Barry’s farewell. And after we had a family dinner and Jamie and Linda’s house. After dinner we went and took family pictures at the Opera House. I’ll post all that later. Right now I’m going to dish Kaylee up some of her favorite pizza, and a special birthday root beer float, climb in our big bed and watch a movie. Why? Because these are Kaylee’s favorite things and it’s her birthday. 😉
