I was at the mall’s indoor play place for a play date, when I got a text from my Mom asking if we were home today. I initially thought she wanted to plan a Skype call. I told her what we were doing and let her know I would be home soon.

I had just got the kids set up with lunch, and was talking to a friend who had just brought her kids over for me to watch, when there was a knock on the door. I was not expecting anyone. SURPRISE!!!

I do believe I yelled, “Holey CRAP! What are you guys doing here?”

My Dad said they were just in the neighborhood, and thought they would drop by.

I guess when they landed in Las Vegas from their summer trip they decided to just drive down to see us since they were already two hours into the drive down! My Mom was so giddy that they actually got me! I was SO SO surprised.

Dad took many walks with the double stroller full of children.

Mom had lots of fun playing with her grandchildren.

It was a lovely surprise visit.
