So this is a picture of Kaylee before we took her to Insta Care. Jon had just finished sending the bath photos of her to Mom, so the laptop was in her room with us. She loves the laptop and thinks it’s hers. She will even shut the laptop on me and Jon to get our attention. Anyway the look on her face is one of confusion. Jon had just told her to get off Stella (yes I named my laptop) then quickly changed his mind and told her to stay so he could get a picture of her using Stella as a chair. She was so funny when she knew she was in trouble quickly scooting off, then giving Jon a funny look and scooting back on for the photo. Also you can see how yucky her face looked from the outbreak.

This is after we got back home, and Kaylee had just been dosed with meds. Her bedding was all in the wash AGAIN. I had been cleaning like crazing trying to figure out what triggered her outbreak. We are thinking it’s just the change of seasons? Lovely right? Jon took this picture of Kaylee favorite sleeping position. He calls it her stink bug, and is very amused by it.

Measles??????????????……..

So as you all know Kaylee has just awful skin. We are very careful with what she gets exposed to because any little thing will trigger an outbreak. And when she’s miserable so are we. So about a week ago I started ramping up our normal skin care routine to fight off what I thought was another outbreak of eczema… Well Saturday morning it was the worst it had been all week. Not better despite all our efforts. So we sent a couple of picture to Mom H. to look at for us. She said we shouldn’t wait until Monday to go to the doctor because wore case it could be measles. So we went to Insta Care. The receptionist thought is looked like measles too, and had us go into an exam room as soon as someone else came in to the clinic. Of course 2 weeks away from getting the MMR vaccine she would come down with the measles. Turns out it was just a bad case of atopic dermatitis all thanks to mom and dad of course with our wonderfull skin issues. At least we were able to take her to church today without the fear of spreading disease. She’s on liquid steroids now for the next 6 days and she’s already starting to look better.
