Regan’s Kinder field trip

Jon went on this field trip with Regan. Regan was over the moon to have his Daddy go.

Regan found out about Star Wars at Disneyland and has been begging to go. BUT he’s not one for rides. I can barely get him onto a stationary bench on a merry go round! I told him if he rode all the rides we could go to Disneyland as part of our California spring break mini vacation.IMG_5225 IMG_5235 IMG_5241 IMG_5258This right here usually causes tears and panicking. Jon said he was HIGHLY motivated.IMG_5261 IMG_5287I picked up Kaylee and Hannah and Kaylee was desperate to know if Disneyland was happening. on called and simply said, “He rode the rides.” So I passed the message and the squeals of happiness and excitement about ruptured my eardrums. I guess we are headed to Disneyland. 🙂 I’m not complaining at all.

Cut and color time

When  your sister is a hair dresser you get fun hair anytime you want it. I regularly grow my hair out to donate it. It’s take a couple years so I am ready for a big change when it’s cut time. Also, Logan is starting to be slightly less terrified of me.

Soooooo long. And then Sooooo short!  14 inches this time! We did the cut at my house and then a few days later the color at Jack’ee’s

house. AND Logan is right back to being terrified of me. So grateful to have such a talented sister to fix up my wild curls for me. She’s amazing.

Riffle safety with uncle Dwayne

We where visiting the Day house. Dwayne came home from shooting and Kaylee kinda freaked out about the riffle. She didn’t even want to be in the same room as it. So after a bit of encouraging for her to have a closer look Uncle Dwayne was able to give his lives in the dark scary place of worst case scenario niece a lesson on gun safety.

And the gun didn’t explode, and no one died. So she’s feeling better about proper gun use now. And we are talking about taking her out shooting just to round our gun safety knowledge. Because knowledge is power. And when you know about a thing it’s not scary.

She ended up being pretty interesting in the science of the scope. IMG_4702 IMG_4704Dwayne was very careful that even thought it was empty all people had to be clear and it was only pointed at the ceiling or floor. All part of gun safety. And sweet Cassie and her Daddy are the cutest. 🙂
