Reganism: Big brother Batman

Regan is my running errands going on Mommy adventures buddy. This trip we braved Costco, Dollar Tree, and Wal-Mart. This little guy is a trooper. I said "Not going to happen," and "Not today Buddy" for items requested WAY too many times this afternoon. And he did not pitch a fit to any of my no's. So Mama guilt started to set in because he was being awesome about being told no. And then he hit below the belt while we were looking for a red shirt for Kaylee at Wal-Mart.

"MOM! MOM LOOK! It's a Batman for MY baby! My baby can wear Batman, and I could hold  my baby!"

So, yes. We bought a Newborn Batman onesie today. And my little boy was thrilled. It was the first thing he told/showed his Daddy when Jon got home that night. And he has since put it in his cloths drawer to "keep it safe for the baby".

We have been talking about adoption since Regan turned two. Regan being so young never said much on the subject. But he would listen. And lately he prays to be a big brother, and prays for his baby to come home.

He was carrying around the onesie today so I of course had to get a picture (or 16) of my guy.

This boy of mine is ready to be a big brother. Although he is still on the fence on if he wants a sister or a brother. I'm thinking that if Regan's baby wears the onesie Regan picked out it will not matter, but be true and instant LOVE.

Cousins, Popcorn, Frozen, Pizza

Such a fun day. Jon, Shannon, Cole, and I took the kiddos to see Frozen. LOVED IT!

Then we headed back to our house for the cousins to go crazy and wild while I whipped up some pizza for dinner.

I'm loving the olive on Cassie's chin.

This is what happens when you tell Regan he cannot nap, but has to come have fun with cousins and eat his FAVORITE dinner. I am such a meanie.

Thanksgiving 2013

We had our first just us Thanksgiving. It was nice and quiet. Different, but good.

We tried watching the Space X launch, but it was sadly aborted.

We made three pies from scratch. You know so the kids could enjoy some allergy friendly goodness.

I got some mini pie pumpkins and did the whole shebang. Oh, my yummy worth the extra work goodness!

Regan didn't like the pumpkin, and rrefused to try the apple. Kaylee loved both apple and pumpkin.

We used soy milk to make a chocolate pudding pie, but since it was made with soy it didn't want to set up. So the kids ended our dessert extravaganza by drinking the chocolate pie.
