We are heart sore after saying goodbye to our three loves. We know they are well with their new forever family . but missing them daily is real and rough for us all. We decided we needed a pick me up. A figure out how to get back to just the four of us. So, obviously Disneyland  was the answer.

Regan was terrified of every single ride. ALL of them.

Even this one.

See. The rest of us had a blast the entire time.

I just told him that we didn’t want to do his plan of parents taking turns to sit ans wait for Kaylee and a parent to ride. NOPE. He was tortured with rides park open to park close.

Since I knew we were doing open until close I had them in the stroller unless we were in line for a ride. I also refused to wait around in lines for character photos so we snapped in passing instead.

We also lo-jacked the kids with tile gps chips for this Mama’s peace of mind.

The river boat was closed but the band was playing and we nipped in to cool off while deciding where to go next. THEN Princess Tiana showed up to cool off on the boat and we had her to ourselves for a bit! WOOT!

Regan’s face! He says he actually had fun and wants to go back.

He insists he had fun! But looking at the photos….

And he keeps saying that Splash Mountain was his favorite ride of the day. He’s in front of me ducked down in a tight ball. I think this was he favorite ride because it was the last ride.

We were all exhausted. But happy.

Kaylee’s only request was cotton candy. She stayed awake just long enough to eat a few bites then passed out hard like Regan. Still missing our three, but I think we’ll be okay with just us four for a time. Disneyland was good to/for us.
