So randomly (he ALWAYS brings it in and locks the door) Jon left his laptop backpack in the back seat of the car. It was gone the next morning. BAD BAD BAD day for Jon.

So we had an officer come by to get a statement and take some prints.

And then Kaylee told me what we REALLY needed was a detective to catch the kidnapper. We then explained the difference between a thief and a kidnapper. We also explained to her that the officer was going to give all the information to a detective.  So she went and geared up.

She got a gun, a whistle, a magnifying glass, and sleep mask (just in case). She was ready to hunt that "feef" down and get her Daddy's laptop back.
