"I've been waiting for this my whole life." This is what Kaylee told me LOTS when I informed her we were going to the museum to see dinosaur bones. She was beyond excited. One of her big life dilemmas is trying to decide if she should be a archeologist or paleontologists. Such problems my five year old has. Needless to say she was in heaven.
We missed the four cousins who had school. Boo.
It was pretty neat getting to see the bones of some of Kaylee's favorite dinosaurs. Regan was pretty excited about it too.
Kaylee had a near accident because she was so wrapped up in working the dino bone pit. They had these brushes for the lids to use like paleontologists do. She LOVED it. so much.
Regan got thoroughly soaked panning for gold. Good thing I had spare cloths for him.
Shannon was behind me striking poses for the children to mimic. I love how these group shots came out. The kids are so funny.
Post outfit change running out of the "scary" mine tunnel.
Zombied out to the dino documentary.
Dino documentary stated talking about dino poop. Faces are priceless.
I think Shannon and I were more excited about the meteorite. We watched a planetarium movie about meteorites the last time we were at the science center.
Regan was DONE (nap time), but perked up to check out the orange rocks. "WOW. Orange ones Mom!"
She kills me. In a delightful always cracking me up kind of way.
We seriously had an awesome time. Kaylee is already asking to go back.
