Was the subject of an e-mail from my Mom. I just opened the e-mail and it informed me that we have been misspelling her title. I LOVE my Mom. She cracks me up. She is amazing, and OH SO FUNNY! It took her almost a year after Kaylee was born to pick her title. γιαγιά is Greek for Grandmother. She wants all her grandchildren (so far just the 2) to call her Grandma in a different language. Since Abeula was taken by her Mom she chose γιαγιά. So far Kaylee has it easy. She wants poor Regan to call her Babushka!
Which is Russian. Hmm. wonder what languages the future grandchildren will get landed with (thought bubble)…..

Grandma Sapp
It is nice having different names for the grandmas. I admit it gets a little confusing over here with the different grandmas. There’s pizza grandma, far away grandma, stuffed animal grandma, grandma Barb, and grandma Jan. And if we lived closer to my dad’s parents….oh boy! I don’t know what we’d do. But as for Regan calling grandma a different name than Kaylee? Good luck with that. I didn’t like grandma Jan, but it stuck simply because Rebekah’s cousins were saying it so that’s what she started saying. So if Kaylee is saying Yaya I doubt Regan will say Babushka. Time will tell though.
