Clip down and workout

Today Ronon came home with a behavior note. I laughed. Then we talked about time and place. Although history is full of forts, during history time is not the time or place to build one. I laughed so hard. Then we worked-out. Ronon has steadily since he could hold his own weights at the tender age of one been my best workout buddy.

Symphony of the Seas Cruise

Six months before we left for this adventure our friends invited us along on the cruise they decided to go on. Honestly, if it had been any other couple we wouldn’t have even considered this as a life possibility let alone made arrangements to go. Angel and Diantha have 5 trauma children and a crazy packed life like we do. I asked our amazing niece if she’d be willing to take on our crew for 9 days and she said yes! Fast forward six months of planning later and we left to have child free fun! It was amazing and an epic way to celebrate 16 years of marriage to my favorite human ever.

Janice is annoyed that Jon bent his knees a LOT for this photo. Otherwise we’re all very excited to be AT the airport.
On the plane!
Jon and Diantha did the mini zip line on the ship. Angel and I weren’t wearing closed toed shoes at the time so we couldn’t go.
Port Miami.
Rough seas dictated a seating move for Angel and Diantha at the ice show we went to see.
Jon and Angel had fun playing shuffle board. I enjoyed watching.
Sunrise as we came into port at Hattie.
Sunrise breakfast on our balcony.
Getting ready for the big zip line at Hattie.
Dragons Flight is the tallest zip line in the Caribbean. It was a blast and I’m so happy we did this.
Jon and Janice, Diantha and Angel Bright.
It was SO windy most of the cruise. I had to tuck my shirt in and it took a whole lot of conditioner to untangle my hair.
Jon and Angel humored me with riding the carousal. Turns out the bit I like is watching the kids….
Puerto Rico day. Site seeing and shopping. We did a bus tour.
Puerto Rico is beautiful. You can’t tell, but the cobble stones are a gorgeous cobalt blue.
St. Thomas day.
The water was crystal clear and SO cold. Angel and I didn’t stay in for long.
Diantha made a fish friend and played for over and hour! It was fun to watch.
Fun beach day that ended with a crazy driver taking us back to our ship.
Jon is the best.
I passed out waiting to dock at CoCo Cay. Today is snorkeling day.
Last day of beach fun.
And back in the Miami airport to start our trip back home.
So grateful for Angel and Diantha inviting us on such a needed and fun get away. We figured if they could leave their 5 trauma kiddos behind we could too. It was SO worth every moment.
