The children have been on a serious Knock,knock jokes kick for the last few months. They make up the most random jokes and tell them ALL.DAY.LONG. They have a few that are actually quite funny.

Regan made this one up on his own. It got such a good response that it’s now Regan and Kaylee’s favorite Knock knock joke. We hear it several times a day. Enjoy!

Regan: “Knock, knock.”

Us: “Who’s there?”

Regan: “Orange.”

Us: “Orange who?”

Regan: “Orange chicken!”

Us: Laughing. Lots

Regan: Quietly. “My favorite food.” (He’s had it maybe three times…..)

Us: MORE laughing.

But OUR favorite that he made up is this one from tonight. He was SO ready for bed.

Regan: “Knock, knock”

Us: “Who’s there?”

Regan: “Sweepin” (Sleeping)

Us: “Sleeping who?”

Regan: “Sweepin in a bedtime. Come on wets (lets) go!”

Ya. We went and tucked him right in bed after the good chuckle we got out of that one. He is and has always been a nap and bedtime lover. We rarely fight him on it. He is usually the one who announces that it’s time. We love this about him.
